I have often wondered why I take polaroids when I could be shooting digitally or with a normal film.

The answer lies in the act itself when, in choosing how to frame the subject - already a selective vision of reality - I perform a further reduction, through which I try to get to the essence of what I see. It is an attempt at extreme synthesis, effective because of the immediacy of the result and of its containment within a frame which isolates the instant from any other interference, making it intimate and private as a “secret garden”.

A little visual haiku whose poetic essentiality takes you back to the wider perception of reality: a road far from simple to travel and easily lost, but where the effort of the search is its own reward.
